I recently traded a watch I wasn't wearing for this. German ZeitFlugel Ka6 Chronograph with a SeaGull ST-19 Movement. I became interested in the movement some time ago when I was looking at Seagulls 1963 reissue and when I saw this I had to grab it. Hand wound, 20 ATM water resistance, sapphire crystal, screw down crown, screwed links, diver extension, unidirectional 120 step bezel and of course the column wheel ST-19 which is based on and believed to have been made using the Venus 175 tooling Tianjin bought from the Swiss in the 60's. It's a rock solid well respected movement that seems to be running at about +/- 1 sec. To be honest I'm not totally sold on the watch yet. It's solid, too solid. Heavy to the point of being painful to wear, but I do love the history and reported rugged reliability of the movement. Any thoughts.

It does look very rugged. I will bring my citizen Skyhawk to a meeting and maybe compare the weight. I use the citizen for work as it is a heavy beast. Attachments:

How heavy is heavy? I consider my sub and GMT solid but easy to wear… It's 194 grams and 15mm thick. It's got some heft...
